Hi friends, I’m Ricardo Jorge but you can call me RJ! I’ve been coding since I was a little kid, modding / cracking games and somehow that got me to China for the World Robotics Championship in 2008, when I was only 14 years old. Today, at 30 years of age, I mainly work as a Software Engineer passionate about Frontend, Dashboarding, and Data Visualisation. I see myself as a “Self Guided Missile”, you point me at a target and I’ll figure out how to hit it on my own, no micro-management needed, leveraging my 10+ years of SWE experience to avoid all the pitfalls and drive straight to the solution. I’ve always been an early adopter on everything about technology and I am up-to-date with the latest AI tools. On top of that, I spend my free time learning about marketing and sales so I can build my own software company in the future. In the meantime, I am looking for place where I can collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, make the most of my technical skills, share my knowledge with others, and learn from the best professionals in their respective fields.
